The Role:
Cover Midlands (Bristol - Cambridgeshire - Birmingham)
Due to continued expansion are seeking a Technical Sales Engineer / Account Manager to cover accounts in The Midlands including the East of England and parts of the West of England down to Bristol.
Account management of existing key accounts within the territory, both at OEM, end user and engineering contractor levels.
Selling to instrumentation and piping engineers, as well as key buyers within each category
Coordination of RFQ&amp;#39;s through to PO&amp;#39;s through use of internal support personnel. 

Requirements:
Mechanical engineering background, preferably ONC, HNC, Graduate or higher, strong technical bias but commercially aware.
Currently in a technical sales engineering role with a sales track record.
Hands-on commercial experience gained in an engineering / technical sales role.
A clear and concise communicator, capable of identifying new objectives and executing them through a factory based team.
Good commercial acumen, combined with the ability to grasp, understand and drive gross margin improvements through technical sales ability.
Knowledge and experience of valves an advantage, but not essential. Fluid handling or similar product knowledge beneficial. Pumps, pipelines
High energy with a Pro-active approach.
