Connect Appointments is recruiting a Welder/Fabricator to join a global manufacturing business based in Livingston on a permanent basis.

Our client is a well-established, globally recognised manufacturer offering an excellent benefits package and a 1,000 sign-on bonus for successful candidates.

What's on offer?

• 1,000 sign-on bonus
• Monday to Thursday, 6am to 4pm
• 16 per hour, paid weekly
• Immediate starts available

As a Welder/Fabricator, your duties will include:

• Reading and working from detailed engineering drawings
• TIG and MIG welding across a variety of fabrication projects
• Working on general sheet metal work and light fabrications
• Using hand tools and power tools to trim, cut and fit components
• Adhering to all health and safety procedures at all times

The ideal Welder/Fabricator will have:

• A minimum of 2 year's experience as a Welder/Fabricator
• Proven TIG and MIG welding skills in a manufacturing environment
• The ability to read and interpret detailed engineering drawings
• A valid driving licence (preferred but not essential)
